1.1 Safety Information
Maintenance personnel should know the following security information:

To reduce the risk of bodily injury, electrical shock, fire, and equipment damage,
read this chapter and observe all warnings and precautions in it before maintaining
the server. The safety instructions in this manual do not represent all the safety
instructions. They are only supplements to the safety instructions.

The server must be integrated and maintained by technically qualified persons. ZTE
Corporation disclaims any responsibility caused by the violations of general safety
operation requirements or safety standards for equipment design, production, and
usage.
1.2 Safety Instructions
Maintenance personnel should know the following safety considerations:

Equipment operation specifications
à
Conform to local occupational health and safety requirements when you are
moving and lifting equipment.
à
Use mechanical assistance or other suitable assistance when moving and lifting
equipment.
l
Power and electrical warnings
à
Make sure that the power cables are unplugged before you replace or install
hardware components on the server.
à
The power supply in this product contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not open
the power supply.
l
System access warnings
à
If the server has been running, any installed processors may be hot. To avoid the
possibility of contact with hot components during the maintenance process, allow
the system to cool before opening the cover of the server.
