1. LOADING AND CLEANING
Access to the service area is only permitted to people with the appropriate training and knowledge
to load and clean the machine, especially regarding matters of hygiene and safety.
Machine operators are responsible for their personal hygiene and cleanliness in compliance with
current health and safety regulations.
The product provided by the machine is citrus fruit juice with a pH level no higher than 4.5.
Cleaning must be undertaken using a detergent suitable for foodstuffs which does not require
rinsing with water.
Product dosage should follow the amounts specified in the technical data sheet.
It is advisable to use soft water for cleaning the machine.
It is advisable to turn off the main switch of the machine before starting any cleaning procedures.
Do not clean the machine with direct jets of water or water at high pressure.
We recommend that you clean the parts in the juicing zone at least once a week (cups,
squeezers, squeezer tray, upper filter tray, filter tray, blade and front cover) plus the door, cup
drop, drip grate and filter, following the cleaning instructions.
1.1. LOADING THE FRUIT
The machine is equipped to juice oranges with a diameter of 53-75 mm (the medium set of
squeezer cups and squeezers in dark grey – see Fig. 18)); if you want to use larger oranges you
will need to buy a set of large squeezer cups and squeezers in light grey plus an orange separator
that will allow you to juice oranges with a diameter of 70-90 mm (Fig. 19).
The loader (diagram 24.1, no. 11) has a maximum capacity of 25 kg (Fig. 24).
Every time you load the machine, we recommend that you fit an orange in the right-hand cup
(diagram 24.1 no. 15).
Never use damaged fruit.
1.2. LOADING THE CUPS
In the cup dispenser (Fig. 20) you should fit cups with a mouth diameter of Ø70-71; these can
have different capacities, such as 150, 220cc. To use 250cc cups, you need a Ø73-74 cup
dispenser. (optional)
The dispenser has a capacity of 90-115 cups, depending on the manufacturer and the capacity of
the cup.
We recommend you use cups that have had anti-static treatment.
There is no preference as to the colour of the cup used, but we recommend you to avoid using
completely transparent cups.
You can test the operation of the cup dispenser manually by pressing SW4 on the control panel.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure the cups are not too oval or too tightly stacked together; there should be
a gap between the mouths of the cups of around 3 mm.
1.3. CLEANING
JUICING ZONE:
Dismantling:
- Remove the front cover (diagram 24.1, no. 10) and clean it with a cloth soaked in a neutral
soap solution (
IMPORTANT! NEVER use abrasive products to clean it
).
- The tray and blade are removed by unscrewing the nuts of the tray shafts and pulling
outwards horizontally. You can also unscrew the squeezers inside the squeezer tray (Fig.
21); there are some washers underneath them. When cleaning
, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL
WHEN HANDLING THE BLADE
(Fig. 4) as it is very sharp and you could cut yourself.
