15. PREPARING THE SPRAYER FOR LOW TEMPERATURES
For low temperatures, you must prepare the sprayer (under 0 degrees C- stored outside) so
that cannot be damaged because of frost.
Hoses
Check the hoses for damages, make sure that they are not squeezed or folded.
Replace the hoses that are in bad condition.
Nozzles
Dismantle and check the nozzles, filters… If necessary, replace.
Frame
Some protection agents are very aggressive and the frame can rust. Remove all rust
and paint the damaged parts.
Residues of protection agents can cause explosion when combining with
organic substances and subjected to critical temperatures during repair
work (e.g., welding, grinding, filing) Prior to repair or welding on the frame,
all remnants of pesticides must be thoroughly cleaned to remove.
