LABEL DESCRIPTION
Slot (N) Channel Setup
This is the card’s slot number.
Up
Click this link to go to the card's
Edit Port Setup
screen.
VPI/VCI
This field displays the Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) and Virtual Circuit Identifier (VCI). The
VPI and VCI identify a channel on this port.
Click a link in the
VPI/VCI
column to open a screen where you can edit the VPI/VCI
settings.
PVID
This is the PVID (Port VLAN ID) assigned to untagged frames or priority frames (0 VID)
received on this channel.
An asterisks (*) denotes a super channel.
Default 802.1p Priority
Type the priority value (0 to 7) to add to incoming frames without a (IEEE 802.1p) priority
tag.
Encapsulation
This shows the encapsulation type
llc
or
vc
that this channel uses.
Add
Click this button to configure a new channel.
Delete
Select a channel’s
Delete
check box and click the
Delete
button to remove the channel.

Do the following to open the
ALC Port Channel Add
or
Edit
screen:
Step 1.
Click
Port Setup
in the navigation panel and then the ADSL line card’s link to open the
ALC Port
Setup
screen.
Step 2.
Click a port's index number to go to the
ALC Edit Port Setup
screen.
Step 3.
Click
Channel Setup
in the
ALC Edit Port Setup
screen to go to the port's
Channel Setup
screen.
Step 4.
Click the
Add
button in the
Channel Setup
screen to add a new channel or click an existing channel’s
link in the
VPI/VCI
column to edit the channel.
