Enter “
ssh –1 192.168.1.1
”. This command forces your computer to connect to the Zyxel Device
using SSH version 1. If this is the first time you are connecting to the Zyxel Device using SSH, a message
displays prompting you to save the host information of the Zyxel Device. Type “
yes
” and press
[ENTER]
.
Then enter the password to log in to the Zyxel Device.

37.9 Telnet
You can use Telnet to access the Zyxel Device’s command line interface. Specify which zones allow
Telnet access and from which IP address the access can come.
37.9.1 Configuring Telnet
Click
Configuration > System > TELNET
to configure your Zyxel Device for remote Telnet access. Use this
screen to specify from which zones Telnet can be used to manage the Zyxel Device. You can also
specify from which IP addresses the access can come.
$ telnet 192.168.1.1 22
