I P Addr ess

I P Subnet Mask

Default Gat ew ay
Ent er t he I P addr ess of t he default out going gat eway in dot t ed decim al not at ion, for
ex am ple 192.168.1.254.

Ent er t he VLAN ident ificat ion num ber associat ed w it h t he Sw it ch I P addr ess. This is t he
VLAN I D of t he CPU and is used for m anagem ent only. The default is " 1" . All port s, by
default , ar e fixed m em ber s of t his " m anagem ent VLAN" in or der t o m anage t he dev ice
fr om any por t . I f a port is not a m em ber of t his VLAN, t hen user s on t hat por t cannot
access t he device. To access t he Sw it ch m ake sur e t he por t t hat you ar e connect ed t o is
a m em ber of Managem ent VLAN.
Managem ent I P Addr esses
You can cr eat e up t o 64 I P addr esses, w hich ar e used t o access and m anage t he Sw it ch fr om t he por t s
belonging t o t he pr e- defined VLAN( s) . You m ust configur e a VLAN fir st .
I P Addr ess
Ent er t he I P addr ess for m anaging t he Sw it ch by t he m em ber s of t he VLAN specified in
t he V I D field below.
I P Subnet Mask
Ent er t he I P subnet m ask in dot t ed decim al not at ion.

Default Gat eway
Ent er t he I P addr ess of t he default out going gat eway in dot t ed decim al not at ion.

Click Add t o inser t t he ent r y t o t he sum m ar y t able below and save your changes t o t he
Sw it ch’s r un- t im e m em or y. The Sw it ch loses t hese changes if it is t ur ned off or loses
pow er, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op nav igat ion panel t o save your changes t o t he
non- volat ile m em or y w hen you ar e done configur ing.
Cancel
Click Ca n ce l t o r eset t he fields t o your pr ev ious configurat ion.
I ndex
This field display s t he index num ber of t he r ule. Click an index num ber t o edit t he r ule.
I P Addr ess
This field displays t he I P addr ess.
I P Subnet Mask
This field display s t he subnet m ask.

This field displays t he I D num ber of t he VLAN gr oup.
Default Gat eway
This field display s t he I P addr ess of t he default gat eway.

Cancel
