7.2 Incoming IP Filtering
Click
Advanced Setup > Security > IP Filtering > Incoming
to display the following screen.
This screen displays a list of the configured incoming filtering rules.

Filter Name
Enter a descriptive name of up to 16 printable English keyboard characters, including
spaces.
IP Version
Select the IP version for this rule.
Protocol
Select the IP protocol (
TCP/UDP
,
TCP
,
UDP
or
ICMP
) and enter the protocol (service
type) number in the port field.
Source IP address[/
prefix length]
Enter the source IP address in dotted decimal notation. You can also specify the prefix
length for the IP address. The prefix length indicates how much of the left-most
portion of the IP address is the same for all computers in the network, that is the
network address.
Source Port (port or
port:port):
Enter a single port number or a range of port numbers of the source.
Destination IP
address[/prefix
length]
Enter the destination IP address in dotted decimal notation. You can also specify the
prefix length for the IP address. The prefix length indicates how much of the left-most
portion of the IP address is the same for all computers in the network, that is the
network address.
Destination Port (port
or port:port):
Enter a single port number or a range of port numbers of the destination.
Apply/Save
Click this to save your customized settings and exit this screen.
