By default all outgoing connections (LAN to WAN) are allowed unless you create
rules blocking certain LAN users.
13.4.2 WAN to LAN Rules
The default rule for WAN to LAN traffic blocks all incoming connections (WAN to LAN). If you wish to
allow certain WAN users to have access to your LAN, you will need to create custom rules to allow it.
See the following figure.

By default NO incoming connections (WAN to LAN) are allowed unless you create
rules allowing certain WAN users/services access to your LAN.
13.5 Configuring Firewall
Click
Firewall
to open the
Default Policy
screen. Enable (or activate) the firewall by selecting the
Enable
Firewall
check box as seen in the following screen.
