Command-Line Interface (CLI)
The CLI allows you to use text-based commands to configure the UAG. Access it using remote
management (for example, SSH or Telnet) or via the physical or Web Configurator console port.
See the Command Reference Guide for CLI details. The default settings for the console port are:
1.4 Web Configurator
In order to use the Web Configurator, you must:
• Use one of the following web browser versions or later: Internet Explorer 6.0, Firefox 8.0,
Chrome 14.0, Safari 4.0
• Allow pop-up windows (blocked by default in Windows XP Service Pack 2)
• Enable JavaScripts, Java permissions, and cookies
The recommended screen resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels.
1.4.1 Web Configurator Access

Make sure your UAG hardware is properly connected. See the Quick Start Guide.

In your browser go to

Login
screen appears.

Type the user name (default: “admin”) and password (default: “1234”).

Login
. If you logged in using the default user name and password, the
Update Admin Info
screen appears. Otherwise, the dashboard appears.
