Access Point Mode
4.1 Overview
In Access Point (AP) mode your WRE6606 bridges a wired network (LAN) and wireless LAN (WLAN)
in the same subnet. See the figure below for an example.

4.2 What You Can Do
• Use the
Status
) to view read-only information about your
WRE6606.
• Use the
LAN
) to set the IP address for your WRE6606 acting as
an access point.

) to configure the wireless settings and
wireless security between the wireless clients and the WRE6606.
