10.6 AP Select Screen
Use this screen (available both in Client mode and Repeater mode.) to choose an access point that
you want the WRE6606 to connect to. You should know the security settings of the target AP.

to enable data encryption.
WPA Compatible
This field appears when you choose
WPA2-PSK
as the
Security Mode
.
Check this field to allow wireless devices using
WPA-PSK
security mode to connect to
your WRE6606.
Pre-Shared Key
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
uses a simple common password for authentication.
Type a pre-shared key from 8 to 63 case-sensitive keyboard characters.
Group Key Update
Timer
The
Group Key Update Timer
is the rate at which the AP sends a new group key out to
all clients.
The default is
3600
seconds (60 minutes).

Click
Apply
to save your changes back to the WRE6606.
Reset
Click
Reset
to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
