Power Failure Alarm Cord, Model PF1
INSTRUCTIONS
SAVE THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
This ACCUCOLD power-failure line
cord has a built-in power failure
sensor with an 80dB loud audible
alarm. It is intended for monitoring
essential 120 volt AC powered
cord-connected appliances for
power failure events, accidental
cord disconnection and circuit
breaker failure. The loud signal
sounds for up to 90 minutes,
advising the user to reconnect
power to the device.
Key Components of the Power Failure Alarm Cord
15 Amp hospital grade grounded three-wire plug
Alarm housing with rechargeable battery
AC Power ON LED indicator
Grounded three-wire 15 Amp connector
Built-in switch that will silence the alarm when operated in the “alarm off” position
INSTALLATION
i.
Attach the female connector to the plug of the appliance to be monitored.
ii.
Plug the cord into any live 120 volt AC outlet.
Note: If the appliance plug is disconnected from the cord, the alarm will not sound. It will sound
only if power fails to reach the cord.
