DESCRIPTION
The Total Access
®
4303
Plus
DC Power Supply is a removable assembly that provides
the voltages necessary for proper system operation. The unit features LEDs for over-
temperature and DC output, an input fuse, and the ability to be hot-swapped when
used with another DC supply in the same chassis. The supply interfaces to the Total
Access backplane through a 48-pin connector. The unit accepts one or two –48 VDC
inputs from the backplane and supplies –48 VDC fused output for use with external
input logic, +5 VDC as hot insertion bias voltage for modules, and +2.1 VDC for back-
plane termination. In addition, the Total Access 4303
Plus
DC Supply provides alarm
relay ouputs when installed in slot PS-A.
The following features are supported on the Total Access 4303

DC status indicator on the 2.1 and 5 volt outputs with open collector output
