COOLABAH AWNING AND ANNEXE WALLS

SETTING UP THE AWNING

1.  While holding the outrigger bar with one hand,

reach up with the other and release the Quick
Release under the container, holding the outrigger,
arms etc. The blind rod cover will lift out of the way
automatically.

2.  Lower the outrigger and arms gently to the ground

(avoiding lights on van wall) and extend out until
arms are straight.

3.  To straighten arms completely, lift out from down

near the outrigger - this prevents any strain on the
hinges.

4.  Depress the spring button on the arms and slide

pipe sleeve over the arm hinge, making sure
the sleeve passes the spring button to hold it in
position.

5.  Once the arms are braced wires will automatically

tension and outside ropes no longer needed.

6.  Release the brake on the roller and pull the canvas

roof out as far as the outrigger.

7.  Unclip the legs and lift the outrigger up, then lower

the front legs into place. Leave legs in lowered
position.

8.  Slide blind rod in behind the legs, one side at a

time, and clip into place. Adjust the legs up to the
required height.

9.  Fit the winder handle to the shaft on the roller

and winding in a clockwise direction, tension the
awning roof back into the container and lock into
place.

10.  Secure the touch-tape on the outside of the roof

canvas and onto the arms to prevent the sides of
the roof from flapping.

11.  Peg the legs down securely. In the event of rain it

may be necessary to lower one or both of the front
legs to assist with water runoff.

12.  Fit the Curved Roof Rafters above the wire

bracing, as shown in image.
