our one day courses here at Axminster. 

This is a one day course for anyone who wants to
learn the art of pen making and producing objet

d’art from project kits. If you are thinking of buying a small

lathe or have a lathe, this is the course for you. Gaining a real insight into what 

can be achieved, after one day you will be able to leave with the completed, 
professionally finished masterpieces and a multitude of ideas and skills.

Locate the threaded insert bush 

(f)

and press firmly into the lower end of the upper

body,  with the thread outward.

Ensure the click mechanism

is correctly oriented (the push button outward). Slide

the Silver tube

over the mechanism, introduce the push button through the clip

(c)

and into the clip securing cap

. Insert the whole assembly into the top body

and press firmly together until the clip retaining cap has trapped the clip itself 
positively 

(See Fig 6).

Introduce the ball point refill 

(h)

into the bottom of the top body, feed down through

the lower body, and overcoming the spring pressure; screw the two parts of the pen 
together.  Exercise the push button to check the action of the mechanism.
