• Clean bulb with a nylon brush, and with soap and water.
• Inspect the cap and application tubes for cracks;
inspect bulb for damage
• Replace bulb if damaged, and cap if it is cracked or broken.
• Use the cap on the delivery tube when bulb duster is not in use.
• Do not fill the bulb with any liquid or gel.
• Remove top slowly and without squeezing the bulb.
• Do not transport the bulb duster without the cap in place.
• Direct dust or granules only at surfaces to be treated.
• Use only E.P.A. approved dusts and granular formu-
lations.
• Follow label directions and wear recommended
protection.
• Do not expose bulb to solvents or extreme heat.
This delivery system can be used to apply dust and
granular formulations of pesticides. Application sites
include exposed surfaces, cracks, crevices, structural
voids, and rodent burrows and runways. Specialized
tips and extensions are included to assist in plac-
ing dust or granules in pest harborages.
• Inside of the bulb should be dry and free of
obstructions.
• The screw threads on the cap and the bulb
should be free of obstructions.
• The application tip should be securely attached to the hole in
the top.
• Inspect the application tips and extensions for cracks.

Filling Bulb
• Wear protective materials directed by the pesticide label.
• Maintain the bulb upright during filling and capping.
• Do not use more than 6 ounces of dust or granular insecticide
in the bulb.
• Add the insecticide to the bulb with the aid of a funnel to pre-
vent spilling.
• Hand tighten the cap on the bulb before application.
Remaining Dust or Granules
• Unused pesticide in the bulb should be removed prior to long-
term storage of the Bulb DustR. Empty bulb contents into the
original pesticide container.

Trouble Shooting
Problem:
Dust leaking around the cap or application
tips.
Solution:
• Hand-tighten the cap
• Tighten the tip attachments
• Replace cap (#22055651) if cracked or
broken
• Replace tip )#22058500) or plastic ex-
tensions (#95150905) if cracked.
Problem:
Not enough dust or granules delivered.
Solution:
• Rotate the bulb to loosen the contents,
tilt the bulb slightly forward
• Add marble or bearing in bulb to reduce
dust or granule clumping
• Add more dust or granules to bulb
Problem:
Too much dust or granules delivered.
Solution:
• Reduce the amount of pesticide in bulb
Problem:
Leaking dust or granules from the bulb
Solution:
• Inspect bulb for damage producing cracks and
leaks; replace bulb (#22055650)
