ProMaxx Pedometer Instructions

FEATURES:

 

Counts steps to 399,999 and miles/km to 999.99

 

Calculates calories burned and time spent walking or running.

 

Memory stores running day and week counts with auto-reset and a “monthly” running count with manual reset

Large easy-to-read display

INITIAL SETUP:
1.  Clip the pedometer on your belt or waistline.
2.  Open the pedometer by grasping the top corners and pulling away from your body.
3.  Remove pedometer from waist, leaving it open to reveal the display and buttons.
4.  Press the power (F) button to turn on the display.
5.  Press the total (D) button until the – indicator points to DAY.
6.  Press the mode (E) button until the time of day is displayed.  Press the set (B) button to adjust the time (the AM/PM

indicator will flash while in adjust mode).  Continue to press the set (B) button to adjust the minutes.  Quickly press the
reset (A) button to adjust the hours.  Quickly press the total (D) button to adjust the day of week.

7.  Press the mode (E)  button until either Mile or Km is displayed on the lower portion of the display.  To change the

units of measure press and hold the reset (A) button until the display blinks and the desired units are displayed.

8.  Measure your stride length by stopping mid-step and measuring from toe to toe.  (Average 1’6”-3’0”)
9.  While still in Mile/Km mode press the set (B) button to adjust stride length.  The valid range is 1’0” – 8’0” or 30-215cm.

Continue to press the set (B) button until the stride length is correct.  Once the pedometer reaches the max length it
will reset to the minimum length and continue upward.

10.  Press the mode (E) button until K c is displayed on the lower portion of the display.  Press the set (B) button to enter

your weight.  Pressing and holding the SET (B) button will increase the weight.  The weight range is 60-280 pounds or
30-135 kilos.  To enter a weight lower than what is displayed simply continue past the maximum value and the
pedometer will start back at the low end of the range.

11.  Setup is now complete!

OPERATION:
1.  Clip the pedometer on your belt or waistline.
2.  Open the pedometer by grasping the top corners and pulling away from your body.
3.  Press the mode (E) button until the > indicator points to STEP.
4.  Press and hold the reset button for 2 seconds.  The display should reset to 000000.
5.  Close the case and begin walking.  The case must be closed for the pedometer to operate correctly.
6.  After exercise open the pedometer.  Make sure the – indicator at the top of the display is under DAY.  If it is not,  press

the total (D) button until the – indicator is under DAY.  Press the mode (E) button to review your exercise data:

 

Steps – Lower display shows number of steps taken to 399,999.  Upper display shows average steps per minute.

 

Distance – Lower display shows distance traveled to 999.99 miles or kilometers.  Upper display shows average
speed in MPH or KPH.

 

Calories – Lower display calculates KCALS burned.  Upper display displays average calorie consumption per
minute.

 

Clock – Lower display shows hours and minutes.  Upper display shows seconds.

 

Timer – Lower display shows total time spent walking or running to 100 hours.  Upper display shows time spent
walking or running on the last trip or lap (automatic).

MEMORY RECALL:
1.  Memory recall is available while in STEP, DIST, KCAL, and TIMER modes.
2.  Press the mode (E) button until the the mode (step, dist, kcal, timer) to be recalled is displayed.
3.  Press the total (D) button to change the – indicator to WEEK.  Press the mode (E) button to scroll through each data

type.  The upper display will display the current day of the week, and the data shown will be the cumulative amount for
the current week up to the current point in time.

4.  Press the total (D) button to change the – indicator to MONTH.  Press the mode (E) button to scroll through each data

type.  The upper display will display the number of previous days the data is for.  The data shown will be the
cumulative amount for the past number of days shown on the top display.
