INTRODUCTION
HOT BEVERAGES
When using the BUNN
®
airpot with hot beverages, fill with hot water and allow to stand for 5-10 minutes.
After preheating the airpot
bottle, drain and fill it with the hot beverage you wish to keep hot.
NOTE:
Preheating is not necessary but is recommended for better thermal efficiency.
COLD BEVERAGES
When using the BUNN airpot with cold beverages, fill the airpot with the beverage you wish to keep cold.
After
the
airpot has been filled, add ice cubes while holding the airpot at a slight angle.
NOTE:
DO NOT
fill the airpot
with ice first, as this could result in breaking the inner glass thermal
bottle.
Also
DO NOT
force large sized ice cubes into the bottle as this may result in breaking the inner
glass thermal bottle.
CAUTIONS
1. DO NOT
drop or subject the airpot to strong shocks: this may cause the inner glass thermal bottle to break.
2. DO NOT
subject the airpot
to sudden heating or cooling: this may cause the inner glass thermal bottle to break.
For example, do not fill it with iced water immediately after using boiling water or vice versa.
3. DO NOT
carry the airpot at an angle: this may cause leaking and result in scalding.
4. DO NOT
expose the airpot to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Keep airpot away from direct heating
devices, as these may cause plastic parts to deform.
5.
When using the airpot with hot liquids, keep the airpot out of reach of small children.
6. DO NOT
immerse the airpot in water.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Completely empty the airpot
2.
Remove lid assembly by opening to a 55˚ angle and pulling up and out.
3.
Clean all surfaces of lid assembly with a damp clean cloth using a mild, nonabrasive, liquid detergent.
4.
Clean all surfaces of lid assembly with a damp cloth ensuring removal of any residual detergent.
5.
Remove stem stopper and rinse thoroughly under warm water.
6.
Clean liner bottle using a brush and mild nonabrasive detergent.
7.
Rinse liner bottle thoroughly and place upside down on rack to air dry.
8.
Clean exterior of the airpot
with a clean soft cloth and a glass cleaner or approved stainless steel cleaner.
9.
Replace stem stopper and lid assembly by doing the reverse of step number 2.
