Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and save it

Safety

• 

The tower speaker may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory 
or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardize 
their safety, provided they have been given supervision or instruction 
concerning the safe use of the product and understand the hazards involved.

• 

Never let children play with the product.

• 

The tower speaker is intended for indoor use only.

• 

Never subject the speaker to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, 
impacts, humidity or moisture.

• 

Do not expose the speaker to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

• 

Never try to open the speaker s housing or modify the speaker in any way. 
Certain exposed parts inside the speaker casing carry dangerous current. 
Contact with these can lead to fire or electric shock.

• 

Repairs must be carried out by a qualified tradesman or workshop.

• 

Unplug the mains lead during thunderstorms or if the product is not to be 
used for a long time.

• 

The speaker should only be connected to a wall outlet with a 230 V, 50 Hz 
power supply.

• 

The product is designed exclusively for domestic use.

• 

Do not use the speaker if it or its mains lead is damaged in any way.

• 

Place the product on a steady level surface to prevent the risk of it tipping over.

• 

Protect your hearing. Listening to the speaker on high volume for prolonged 
periods can lead to permanent hearing damage.

Buttons and functions

Top

1.  iPad/iPhone holder.
2.  The “AUX” LED comes on whenever an external device is connected to 

the 3.5 mm AUX IN port.

3.  “AUX IN” AUX socket.
4.  The “POWER” LED lights whenever the speaker is turned on.
5.  The “BLUETOOTH” LED shines or flashes during Bluetooth operations.
6.  [ Volume, ON/OFF ]. Dial the volume control back anticlockwise to the 

OFF

-

position to put the speaker into standby mode. Dial the volume control 
clockwise from the 

OFF

-position to turn the speaker on.

Back

Auxiliary input

1.  Plug the mains lead into a wall socket and turn the speaker on using 

the [ ON/OFF ] (8) switch. Turn the volume control dial clockwise away from 
the 

OFF

 position (standby mode).

2.  Connect a device to the speaker’s 3.5 mm AUX IN socket (2).
3.  Start and check the playback on the device.
4.  Adjust the volume both on the device and speaker to achieve the desired 

volume level.

iPad/iPhone charging

1.  Connect the device to the speaker’s USB port (7) on the speaker’s back panel. 

Use the USB cable that came with the device.

2.  Turn the speaker on with the [ ON/OFF ] (8) switch. The volume control can be 

left in the 

OFF

 (standby) position.

Care and maintenance

• 

Unplug the adaptor from the wall socket if the product is not be used for 
an extended period.

• 

Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket before cleaning or servicing.

• 

Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning 
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.

Troubleshooting guide

The Bluetooth 
speaker will 
not switch on.

• 

Make sure that the [ ON/OFF ] switch is set to 

ON

Is the volume control turned up from the 

OFF

 (standby) 

position?

• 

Make sure the mains lead is undamaged and is securely 
connected to both the wall outlet and speaker.

• 

Is there power at the wall socket being used?

No sound from 
the connected 
device.

• 

Check the volume.

• 

Make sure that there is no cable connected to 
the 3.5 mm AUX IN jack when using Bluetooth.

• 

Make sure that the Bluetooth connection is 
functioning properly.

• 

Test the playback from your external device before 
connecting it.

• 

Try playback using another file or format e.g. MP3. 
The file you are attempting to play may be incompatible 
or damaged.

• 

Pull the plug from the wall socket to disconnect 
the Bluetooth speaker completely from the mains. 
Insert the plug back into the wall socket.

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. 
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

the base onto the speaker.

Operating instructions

Connecting an external Bluetooth

1.  Plug the mains lead into a wall socket and turn the speaker on using 

the [ ON/OFF ] (8) switch. Turn the volume control dial clockwise away from 
the 

OFF

 position (standby mode).

2.  The blue LED Bluetooth indicator will begin flashing, indicating that it is ready 

for synchronisation with other Bluetooth devices. If no pairing takes place 
within 30 seconds the indicator will shine constantly. The speaker will still be 
available for pairing with other devices.

3.  Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired and place it into search mode.
4.  The speaker dock will appear as “speaker” on your device. Select this as 

the device to be connected. Refer to your device’s instruction manual if you 
are unsure.

5.  Once contact has been established, the blue LED indicator will begin 

flashing slowly.

6.  Start and check the playback on the paired device.
7.  Adjust the volume both on the device and speaker to achieve the desired 

volume level.

Note:

 If you are prompted to enter a PIN code, you should enter 

0000

 

(four noughts). Certain devices may even require you to approve the connection.
