Description
Battery charger intended for 9 V Ni-MH/ Ni-Cd
batteries, with timer to prevent overcharging.
Safety
• The charger is intended only for use with
Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries. Attempting to
charge a different type of battery can lead
to person injury or damage to the charger.
• Intended for indoor use only.
• Disconnect the battery charger from
the power outlet when not in use.
• Do not expose charger to humidity, sharp
blows, and shock or high temperatures.
• Do not operate the battery charger if
the plug appears to be damaged.
• Do not open the cover. Certain components
under the cover contain dangerous electric
currents. Contact with those components
can result in electric shock.
• The battery charger may only be repaired
by qualified service personnel.
• Disconnect the plug from the power outlet
before cleaning. Do not immerse charger
in water. Clean the external parts by wiping
with a damp cloth.
Use
Note!
• Do not charge more than one type of
battery at the same time (Ni-Cd or Ni-MH).
• Make sure you disconnect the plug from
the power outlet before you connect a new
battery for charging.
1. Attach the batteries (1–2 9 V batteries)
to the proper position in the charger.
Make sure that the battery poles are
placed in the correct way according to
the markings on the charger.
2. Connect the plug to a 230 V power outlet.
When the batteries are charging, the LEDs
will turn red.
3. Check the charging time. See table below.
When the charging cycle is complete,
disconnect the plug from the power outlet
and remove the batteries from the charger
as soon as possible.
After 8 hours of charging, the charger switches
automatically to conservation charging and
the LEDs turn off.
