Product description

Hair straightener with ceramic plates and variable temperature control
– heats in seconds. Sure-grip handles, 2-metre swivel lead – tangle-
free. 220–240 V AC/41 W.

Use

1.   Plug the hair straightener into an electrical outlet (with dry hands).
2.   Turn the temperature control to the desired heat setting. Bear in

mind that thick hair requires a higher temperature than thin hair.

3.   Move the power switch to the

ON

position. The red LED will now

come on. Hold the hair straightener or lay it on a heatproof surface
until it is completely warm and ready for use. The green LED will
come on when it is ready for use.

4.   Divide hair in sections and use hair clips to hold it separate. Thick or

long hair may need to be ironed several times.

5.   Start at the top of the head and continue downward. Make sure that

the ceramic plates are in motion the entire time and that they don’t
remain still in one place. Repeat until all hair is flattened.

6.   When you have finished, switch the straightener off using the power

switch and unplug it.

7.   Let the hair straightener cool completely before it is put away

for storage.

N.B.

The hair straightener may smoke a little or emit a burning smell for

a short while the first time it is used. This is completely normal and will
stop after 1 or 2 minutes.
We recommend that you use a heat protecting hair care product
on your hair before you begin to use the hair straightener.

Warning

•  The hair straightener’s ceramic plates become very hot; therefore

use the iron carefully and with caution.

•  Do not use the hair straightener if you have sensitive hair or have

a damaged scalp, if you are heat-sensitive or if you have wet hair.

•  The hair straightener is connected to the electrical current even if

it is shut off. Remember to pull out the plug after you have finished
using it.

•  Do not use the hair straightener on artificial hair, wigs etc.

The hair can melt.

Care and maintenance

•  Store the hair straightener in the box when it is not in use. Do not

roll the mains lead around the straightener. Loop it gently instead.

•  Let the straightener cool completely before putting it into the box.
•  Pull out the plug and let the hair straightener cool before cleaning.
•  Clean the ceramic plates when you have used oils or other hair care

products in your hair. Wipe the hair straightener using a cleaning
cloth lightly moistened with water. Make sure that the straightener is
completely dry before you begin to use it or before you put it back in
the box.

•  Never use strong detergents or solvents.
•  Never immerse the hair straightener in liquid.
•  The hair straightener should only be repaired by qualified

service personnel.
