IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electric massager, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following: Read all instructions before using this massager.

To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1) Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
2) Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
3) This massager is not intended for use by, on, or near children or people with
certain disabilities.
4) Use this massager only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use at-
tachments not recommended by Conair.
5) Keep the massager away from heated surfaces.
6) Never drop or insert any object into the massager.
7) To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove batteries
from massager.
8) Never use while sleeping.
9) Never operate this massager if it is damaged, if it is not working properly, or if it has
been dropped into water. Return the massager to an authorized service center for ex-
amination and repair.
10) Do not use near any sharp objects to prevent massager from being punctured.

This is not a toy. Not to be used as a baby or
infant pillow. Do not open this massager for any reason. If this massager is damaged or
opened, discard immediately out of reach of children.
12) The unit contains small parts – outer caps, inner cap assembles and oil
reservoirs. When unit is not in use all parts must be stored properly (inside the
pouch) and kept out of reach of children.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Insert Batteries :
Before using your massager you must insert 2 AA batteries (not in-
cluded). Open the cover to access the battery compartment. Insert batteries. Align positive
(+) and negative (-) as indicated inside the battery compartment. Close the cover.
Note:
Use only alkaline batteries. DO NOT MIX old and new batteries. DO NOT MIX alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. Remove batteries when
storing massager for an extended period of time.
Place the massager on affected area to be treated. You can sit against the massager on a chair
or sofa but never sit directly on top of massager as that could cause it to malfunction.
To activate vibration massage:
Press the On/Off button once. While the button is in the Off
position, you may use the massager without vibration. The Personal Massager has been
designed for ease of operation.
Switch buttons –
There are two switch buttons on the unit:
The “BALL” marking indicates the On/OFF switch for massaging option in the ball.
The “HANDLE” marking indicates the On/OFF switch for massaging option in the
handle.
CAUTIONS
• This massager should not be used in the following cases: Tuberculosis, benign and ma-
lignant tumors, hemorrhages, inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and thrombosis, open
and fresh wounds, bruises, broken skin or varicose veins, undetermined calf pain, or joint
pain, or by persons with impaired sensitivity to heat.
• Consult your physician, should you have any questions regarding therapeutic use of
this massager.
• If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a serious
muscular injury, before consulting your physician.
• Keep away from children.
• Discontinue use of massage if pain increases or swelling occurs after application.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1) Store massager in a secure place away from excessive heat or sharp objects.
2) To clean the unit, remove the batteries and then wipe with a cloth. Do not use any strong
chemical cleaners such as benzine.
3) To prevent felt from clogging regularly rinse the inner cap assay with water and air dry. If
not in use regularly, store it in the pouch.
RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES
Generally, massage should not last more than 15 minutes on any one particular part
of the body. Treatment may be applied once or twice daily as desired.
As individuals’ metabolisms vary, so do their responses to massage. You will soon adjust
the time to suit your particular needs and personal comfort. If you have any doubts regard-
ing treatment, we recommend you consult your physician.
