Insert handle into the
handle mounting bracket.
Install the hardware as
shown.

Oil
Gas
You must ADD OIL before
operating tiller.
Slowly pour entire bottle of
oil provided into the oil fill
spout. Replace and tighten
dipstick.
Fill fuel tank to bottom of tank filler neck.
Use unleaded fuel (minimum 87 octane
with no more than 10% ethanol).
Do not mix gas/oil.
Do not use E15, E20 or E85.
Fuel older than 30 days old can cause
starting issues and may void warranty.

Attaching
Clutch Cable
Route the clutch cable
through the hole in the
upper handle and attach
to the clutch bail. Adjust
cable, if necessary. Refer to
Operator’s Manual.

Carton
Removal
Shift the tiller into the
Neutral (N) position and
use the handle to lift
and pull the tiller off the
shipping platform.
Attaching
the Depth Stake

Install the handle on the
depth stake. Install the depth
stake to the tine shield with
the hardware.

Install the control rod
into the indicator bracket
(A) and the gear selector
handle (B) with the
hardware as shown.
