REM 230
Rain detector REM 230
instructions
Application
The rain detector facilitates automatic
closing of windows and skylights in
conjunction with D+H 230V drives in case of
rain.
The rain detector can be cut off e.g. by a vent
button combination with weather control
switch.
The sensor surface of the detector is heated,
so that a nil return by dewing is avoided, and
the detector remains ice-free in winter.
Moreover, the response time is improved,
when the rain has stopped.
Extent of supply
Rain detector with mounted mounting
bracket and connecting cable.
* D+H-antenna mast fastening (70.600.05)
with screw parts available for fastening
of the REM 42 on antenna mast.
Mast diameter: 42 - 60mm
- Mounting on a roof on an existing
antenna mast or a corresponding
separate mast tube
(at least 2m above
the highest point of roof)
- Tube for lightning protection about 0,5m
higher than REM 42
- Mount REM 42 within precipitation area
(do not mount under an eave or the like)
Observe VDE regulations 0855 as for
antenna arrays regarding mechanical
stability, electrical safety and lightning
protection.
Install and introduce separately weak current
conductions from 230 V supply mains.
Operating voltage 230 VAC!
Observe safety regulations. Mounting must
be carried out by electrical experts only.
