plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodifed plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk
of electric shock.
2) Avoid body contact with earth or grounded surfaces such as conduits, radiators, and refrigera-
tors. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
3) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tools will increase
the risk of electric shock.
4) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Keep cord away from heat oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cord increase
the risk of electric shock.
5) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a
cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medica-tion. A
moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.

non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce
personal injuries.
3) Avoid suddenly starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging in. When your
finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch on invited accidents.

sories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the
power tool accidentally.

power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands
of untrained users.

other condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

the manner intended for the particular type of power tool, taking into account the working condici-
tons and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those inten-

1) Recharge only witch the charger specifed by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fre when used with another battery pack.

Replacement of carbon brushes
Whenever carbon brushes must be replaced, they cut out the tool automatically. When this occurs,
loosen the bolts which secure the rear cover. Remove the rear cover. Then replace both carbon
brushes at the same time. Use only identical carbon brushes.
Lubrication
This tool requires no hourly or daily lubrication because it has a grease-packed lubrication system.
Lubricate the tool every time the carbon brushes are replaced.
Run the tool for several minutes to warm it up. Switch off and unplug the tool. Remove the crank cap
using oringial lock nut wrench (optional accessory). Rest the tool on the table with the bit end
pointing upwards. This will allow the old grease to collect inside the crank housing. Wipe out the old
grease inside and replace with a fresh grease (30 g). Use only original genuine grease (optional
accessory). Filling with more than the specified amount of grease (approx. 30 g) can cause faulty
hammering action or tool failure. Fill only with the specified amount of grease. Reinstall the crank
the cap excessiveely. It is made of resin and is subject to breakage.
To maintain product safety and reliability, repairs, maintenance or adjustment should be carried out
by Authorized service center.
