Wireless Mobile Repeater Installation

Place the repeater (DA4000MR) in a suitable, dry
location in the instrument dash, under seat, or in
trunk and plug the (DP515) power supply's power
cord into the cigarette socket or appropriate power
jack.
Connect the (CA09P) interior slim patch
antenna's mini-UHF male connector directly to the
DA4000MR's inside antenna port connector. The
inside antenna must operate in a vertical position.
Attach the inside antenna adhesive side to a non-
metal surface on the automobile's center console.
The interior antenna can
be placed onto the right side of the driver’s headrest
with an elastic band.
The included power supply (DP515) must
be used. DO NOT connect the DA4000MR
repeater unit directly to 12 volts.
Do not place the interior antenna onto the
windshield or windows.

Mount the exterior black magnetic mount antenna (CA55M), on the center of the metal car roof. For a car with a
sunroof, place the antenna on the center of the metal area behind the sunroof. The outside antenna must be placed on
the roof and cannot be located anywhere else on the automobile.
Do not place the exterior antenna on the trunk or on
the edge of the vehicle’s roof.

Run the cable for the exterior antenna through the weather stripped area of door jam and into the car.
Connect the outside antenna's mini-UHF male connector to the outside antenna port on the repeater
unit.
After you are certain that all connections are tight and secure, move the repeater’s switch labeled "
" to the on
position. A green light will illuminate indicating that the repeater system is ready for use.
If the light on the repeater immediately turns off and the 12VDC power supply flashes red, the
power supply’s
DO NOT crush
or deform cable.
NEVER operate if the
repeater’s light is red.
built-in microprocessor controller automatically stopped power to the repeater (turned the repeater off) due
to an oscillation (feedback). Please follow troubleshooting guidelines on next page. During normal operation, the lights on
the repeater and the power supply should stay green.
