Assembly instructions
Installation
HINWEIS
Jede Handhabung an dem Leitungs- und Rohr-Adapter setzt die
genaue Kenntnis und Beachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung Polytron
3000 oder Polytron 7000 voraus!
Bohrung Ø35 +1 mm an der gewünschten Messstelle der
Rohrleitung bohren (siehe Abbildung A):
1. Dichtmanschette (1) in die Bohrung einknöpfen.
2. Haltewinkel (2) zentrisch zur Bohrung ausrichten und mit Schellen um
die Rohrleitung und/oder mit Schrauben an der Rohrleitung
befestigen, je nach Krümmung und Dicke der Rohrleitung (Ø
≥
100
mm).
3. Wenn die Rohrleitung gekrümmt ist, müssen die vier Stopper (3) in
den diagonal angeordneten Führungen des Haltewinkels
eingeschraubt und justiert werden.
4. Polytron Docking Station (Sachnummer 8317990) mit Hilfe der
Gewindeleiste am Haltewinkel befestigen. Hierzu die Gewindeleiste
(4) zunächst mit der oberen Schraube locker an der Docking Station
befestigen, in den Haltewinkel einhängen und danach die untere
Schraube eindrehen.
5. Elektrischen Anschluss gemäß Installationshinweis Polytron Docking
Station durchführen.
6. Messeinheit gemäß Installationshinweis Messeinheit Polytron 3000
oder Polytron 7000 installieren.
Für die Montage des Sensors (siehe Abbildung B):
1. Befestigungsschrauben (1) auf der Rückseite des Haltewinkels
lockern.
2. Docking Station mit Messeinheit anheben bis die obere Schraube frei
ist und dann in die Wartungsposition schwenken (2).
Sensor in die Verlängerung einsetzen (siehe Abbildung B):
1. Unteren Bajonett-Ring (3) öffnen.
2. Blindscheibe entfernen.
3. Sensor-Sachnummer überprüfen – siehe Installationshinweis
Messeinheit Polytron 3000 oder Polytron 7000.
4. Sensor in Öffnung stecken (Dräger-Schriftzug am Sensor und an der
Verlängerung müssen in die gleiche Richtung zeigen) und mit
leichtem Druck in die Verlängerung einschieben, bis der Stecker
einrastet.
5. Sensor mit Bajonett-Ring sichern.
Verlängerung mit Sensor in die Docking Station einsetzen (siehe
Abbildung B):
1. Bajonett-Ring (4) an der Docking Station öffnen.
2. Blindscheibe entfernen.
3. Verlängerung in den Sensorschacht der Docking Station stecken (5),
Dräger-Schriftzug nach vorne, und mit leichtem Druck in den
Sensorschacht schieben, bis der Stecker einrastet.
4. Verlängerung mit oberem Bajonett-Ring (4) sichern.
5. Docking Station mit Messeinheit anheben, in senkrechte Lage
zurückschwenken und absenken bis der Sensorstutzen der
Verlängerung in die Dichtmanschette eintaucht.
6. Zum Sichern der Docking Station mit Messeinheit die
Befestigungsschrauben am Haltewinkel wieder anziehen.
Installation
NOTICE
Any use of the Duct Mounting Kit requires full understanding and
strict observation of the Polytron 3000 "Instructions for Use" (part
number 90 23 785) or Polytron 7000 "Instructions for Use" (part
number 90 23 758)!
Bore a hole 35 +1 mm in diameter into the duct at the desired
measuring point. (see figure A):
1. Button the sealing sleeve (1) into the hole.
2. Align angle support (2) centrally around the bored hole and secure the
angle support with clamp straps around the duct and/or with screws to
the duct depending on curvature and thickness of the duct (Ø
≥
100
mm).
3. When the duct is curved the four stoppers (3) must be screwed in
along the diagonal slots of the angle support and adjusted.
4. Loosely screw the upper screw of the Polytron Docking Station (part
number 8317990) to the angle support with the help of a threaded bar
(4). To do so, use the upper screw to lightly secure the threaded bar to
the docking station, hang into support angle and then retighten the
lower screw.
5. The electrical connection is made in accordance with the installation
instructions of the Polytron Docking Station.
6. Connect the measuring unit in accordance with the Polytron 3000 or
Polytron 7000 Measuring Unit installation instructions.
For the sensor assembly: (see figure B):
1. Slightly loosen the screws (1) at the back of the angle support.
2. Raise the Docking Station with Measuring Unit so that the upper screw
is free of the angle support and then swivel (2).
To insert the sensor into the extension: (see figure B):
1. Unscrew the bayonet ring (3) on the end of the sensor extension.
2. Remove dummy plate.
3. Check the sensor part number – see Polytron 3000 or Polytron 7000
Measuring Unit installation instructions.
4. Slide sensor into the sensor extension (the Dräger signature at the
sensor and at the sensor extension must align together and point in
the same direction). Then with light pressure push upwards until the
plug engages.
5. Secure the sensor with the bayonet ring.
To insert the sensor extension into the Docking Station: (see
figure C):
1. Unscrew bayonet (4) from the Docking Station.
2. Remove dummy plate.
3. Push sensor extension with the Dräger signature facing forward into
the opening of the Docking Station (5) until the connection engages.
4. Secure extension with bayonet ring (4).
5. Turn the transmitter back to a vertical position and then lower the
sensor into the sensor sleeve.
6. Tighten the screws on the angle support to secure the Measuring Unit
with Docking Station.
