Remote Control Programming
The remote is capable of controlling your TV (for example, changing the volume or
putting the TV on standby). However, to be able to do this, you will need to program the
remote with a 4-digit code. This identifies the correct signals for your TV.
The User Guide, which is available for download from
,
has an extensive list of codes covering the majority of TV models.
To program the remote:
1. Hold down both the CH+ and VOL- keys simultaneously for at
least 2 seconds. The blue LED gives two slow flashes to
indicate successful entry into the setup mode.
2. Using the numbered keys, enter the 4 digit code within 30
seconds. The LED will flash for each entry.
3. After the fourth digit entry, the blue LED gives two slow flashes to indicate that the
code has been successfully programmed.
In the event of an error, the LED gives four rapid flashes. If this occurs, you will need to
repeat this process.
Where several codes are listed by a manufacturer, it may be necessary to repeat the
above sequence with each code until the correct one is found.
If you can’t find the 4-digit code, or the specified code does not work, use the following
procedure to scan through all programmed remote codes.
1. Switch your TV on.
2. Point the remote at the TV. Hold down both the CH+ and VOL- simultaneously (see
above) for at least 2 seconds. The blue LED gives two slow flashes to indicate
successful entry into setup mode.
3. Press . The blue LED is turned on.
4. Press repeatedly until the TV switches off.
5. Press .
