EASY START-UP GUIDE
1.
Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet (120v, 60Hz)
2.
Start and select working mode:
a.
Turn the heater on by pressing the Power button on the control panel or on the
supplied remote control. Turn the heater off by pressing the Power button a second
time. The lights will go into a sleep mode after 60 seconds and will come back on
when the user touches the display again. Once the power is off, the heating element
will stop working right away. The fan will continue to run for 3 minutes to emit
residual heat inside of the unit.
b.
Select a heat setting. Press the Heater button to toggle between high and low heat
settings.
c.
The High light will light up when the high mode is on. The Low light will light up
when the low heat mode is on. High heat mode uses 1500W. Low heat mode uses
1000W.

Setting desired temperature:
a.
Adjust the thermostat by pressing the up and down arrows on the control panel or
remote control.
b.
The temperature can vary from 59° F to 95° F. Once you have chosen the desired
temperature, the heater will remain on until the room temperature increases to the
temperature on the digital display. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the
desired room temperature.
4.
Setting the Ember Bed color:
a.
Press the Ember Bed button to switch between 10 colors of embers.
b.
Press the Ember Bed button for 5 seconds and the ember colors will go into an
automatic color cycle. This function can only be operated on the control panel.

Setting Flame color:
a.
Press the FLAME button to switch between 10 flame colors.
b.
When you press the FLAME button for 5 seconds, the flame colors will go into an
automatic color cycle. This function can only be operated on the control panel.
6.
Setting the timer when the power is off
a.
When the power is off, press the TIMER button on the control panel or remote
control.
b.
Adjust the time by pressing the up and down arrows on the control panel or remote
control.
c.
The digital display turns the timer on so it can be set. Press the UP or DOWN button
more than once, and the time will vary from 0 to 12 hours in 1 hour intervals.
7.
Setting the timer when the power is on
a.
When the power is on, press the timer button on the control panel or remote control.
b.
Adjust the time by pressing the up and down arrows on the control panel or remote
control.
c.
The digital display turns the timer on so it can be set. Press the UP or DOWN button
more than once, and the time will vary from 0 to 12 hours in 1 hour intervals.
8.
Locking the Control Panel
a.
Lock the control panel to keep children from tampering with it. It can be locked in
both power-on and power-off modes. This function can only be operated using the
control panel.
b.
Press both the UP and DOWN buttons at the same time and hold for 3 seconds. The
control panel is locked when the buzzer rings. When locked, the control panel and
remote control will not work.
c.
To unlock the control panel, press both the UP and DOWN buttons at the same time
for 3 seconds. The control panel is unlocked when the buzzer rings. The control
panel and remote control will now work.
