electrician to troubleshoot and repair the
defective electrical circuit.

Cleaning:
Remove grease and grime
with clean, dry cloth.
OPERATION:
To test for voltage, insert test leads into
outlet or carefully touch test leads to
electrical contacts or circuit to be tested.
If voltage is present, the neon indicator
will glow. The brightness of the bulb will
increase as the voltage increases.
To test for the live side of an electrical
outlet, insert one probe into the ground
plug of the outlet while inserting the
other probe in the alternate sides of
the outlet. The neon indicator will glow
when the probe makes contact with the
live side.

Limpieza:
Retire la grasa y la mugre
con un paño seco y limpio.
FUNCIONAMIENTO:
Para probar el voltaje inserte los
conductores de prueba dentro del
tomacorriente o toque con cuidado
los conductores de prueba con los
contactos eléctricos o el circuito que
va a probar. Si hay voltaje presente,
destellarán los indicadores de neón.
Aumentará la luminosidad de las
bombillas conforme aumente el voltaje.
Para probar el lado energizado de un
tomacorriente eléctrico inserte un
conductor en el enchufe de tierra del
tomacorriente insertando a la vez el
otro conductor en los lados alternativos
del tomacorriente. Destellará(n) el(los)
indicador(es) de neón cuando el
conductor haga contacto con el
lado energizado.
