88773 – Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyard
88774 - Detachable Loops (for use w/ Detachable Lanyard)
GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards and Detachable Loops are only intended to be used together with items
with a GEARWRENCH modular connecting buckle, these cannot be used separately as part of a tethering system that does not
include both:
- GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyard
AND
- GEARWRENCH Detachable Loop
GEARWRENCH Detachable Single Carabiner Tool Lanyards and Detachable Loops have a maximum load capacity of 5lbs (2.26kg).
Installation Instruction of GEARWENCH Detachable Loop to tool, for closed handled tools:
1. Weigh the tool to be used with the Detachable Loop. The tool weight must be below the Detachable Loops maximum working load
capacity of 5 lbs. (2.26 kg)
2. Ensure the cinching of the Detachable Loop to the tool will not interfere with the safe working condition of the tool
3. With the corded end of the Detachable Loop pass the cord through the handle of the tool
4. Pass the modular buckle side of the Detachable Loop through the loop of the cord
5. To create a secure connection pull tightly to cinch, and the connection point will be created
Installation for tools with existing pre-manufactured tether through holes:
1. Weigh the tool to be used with the Detachable Loop. The tool weight must be below the Detachable Loops maximum working load
capacity of 5 lbs. (2.26 kg)
2. Ensure the cinching of the Detachable Loop to the tool will not interfere with the safe working condition of the tool
3. With the corded end of the Detachable Loop pass the cord through the tether through hole of the tool
4. Pass the modular buckle side of the Detachable Loop through the loop of the cord
Installation Instructions of GEARWENCH Detachable Loop to GEARWRENCH Detachable Lanyard:
1. Insert the male end of the GEARWRENCH modular buckle located on the GEARWRENCH Detachable Loop into the female end of
the GEARWRENCH modular buckle located on the GEARWRENCH Detachable Lanyard
2. Once male end is firmly inserted, the GEARWRENCH modular buckle will be firmly attached together.
3. After attaching, test the connection of the GEARWRENCH modular buckle by using moderate force to pull the GEARWRENCH
Detachable Loop end from the GEARWRENCH Detachable Lanyard to ensure the connection point is secure.
4. If GEARWRENCH Detachable Loop comes free, replace GEARWRENCH Detachable Loop.
