1. INTRODUCTION

Overview

Your new digi tal camera deliv er s hi gh quality, 1600 x 1200 resol ution
i mages  (after inter polation) usi ng a 2 Megapixel  CMOS i mage s ensor.
U sing ei ther the optic al viewfinder or the 1.5“  TF T c olor m oni tor, you
c an c om pos e im ages  and then ex amine them i n  detail . An  auto-flash
s ensor automaticall y detects  the s hooting (lighting) c onditi ons  and
determi nes whether the flas h shoul d be us ed. T his feature hel ps
ens ur e that your images turn out right.

16MB i nternal  (built-in) m emory  l ets  y ou  capture and s tore  images
w ithout the  need for an additi onal  memory c ard. H owever, y ou may
w is h to extend the mem ory  capac ity  (up to 512MB c apac ity)  by
us ing an external m em ory  c ard.

In addition to s til l images , y ou c an rec or d s hort movie cl ips by using
the mov ie function.
Images y ou hav e tak en can be downloaded to y our computer using
the USB c abl e (U SB driv er r equir ed for Win98SE/ME and Mac OS 9
o r abov e) . You c an enhan ce a nd retou ch y our  im ages  on y our
c omputer by usi ng the prov ided editing softw are, or image edi ting
