You should place the thermostat as following:
a. About
160
cm up from the floor.
b. Only on inside walls (not on an outside wall).
c. Do not expose to direct sun light.
d. Do not position close to a heater, ventilation outlet or
close to an outside door.

To remove the front cover, slide off the display cover.
Unscrew the screw in the battery compartment. Lever off to
remove the front housing from the base. (See Fig
1
.

Inside the base plate remove the screw that secures the
smaller protective cover
(terminal block). (See Fig

Mount the base on the wall and make sure the hole on the
wall is covered by the base with wires coming in through the
base plate cover hole. (See Fig

OPERATION AND
PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION
Our latest microprocessor controlled programmable thermostat
has been designed to reduce your heating and air-conditioning
bill. The THP
1
-C is made to be user friendly and easy to use.
The THP
1-C
digital programmable thermostat is battery operated
and it has
7
days preset programs which can be tailored to suit
your lifestyle.
The THP
1
-C is operated by
2
x AA size batteries. It can therefore
replace any mechanical wire thermostat. Please note that the
maximum resistive load is
5
A.
Note: Please make sure any supply voltage is disconnected
before attempting installation.
If you have a mechanical thermostat connected with
2
wires
remove the old thermostat and replace it with the THP
1-C
thermostat.
Connect the
2
wires to the terminals as shown in Fig
2,
if this is
a thermostat for a new system you must install a
2
wire cable to
the heating system (see Fig
2)or
you should consult a
professional electrician.

Loosen the screws of the terminal block and install the
wires into the terminals (See Fig
2
)

Replace the protective cover onto the base and lock the
cover with the screw.

Put the front housing back onto the base and lock the front
housing with the screw.
8.
Install
2 x
AA size batteries into the battery compartment.
9.
Press the RESET key once to make sure it is working,
hours/minutes will be displayed at zero.

After the batteries (

thermostat unit, or reset or
key is pressed, the thermostat is
in time adjustment mode.
The hour is flashing. Press

key to adjust hour.

key to confirm setting. The minute is flashing.
Press

key to adjust minute. Press
key to confirm
setting. The day is flashing. Press
or
key to adjust day,
Press
key to confirm setting.
This will confirm the setting of time and day.
The display will return into running mode.
e.g. If you have set the clock at

Thermostat is a weekly programmable thermostat, and
each day can be programmed separately.
Each hour can select

temperature. However a weekly
factory preset program is installed.
This preset program is set to suit most families life style.
