CHArgINg

Fully charge your earbuds before your first use. 

 The earbuds will beep every 60 seconds and the 

red LED will flash every few seconds to indicate 

low battery

 Plug the micro USB cable into the micro USB port 

or to a USB compatible car or wall charger

 The red LED will be ON when the earbuds are 

charging, even while the earbuds are turned OFF

 The blue LED will turn ON when charging is 

complete

 Charging time is approximately 2 hours

NoTE:

 If the earbuds are not charged for a long 

time, the battery life will be greatly reduced. We 

recommend that you charge your earbuds at least 

once every three months.

BATTEry CApACITy STATUS

When the earbuds are connected to an iOS

®

 

device, the earbud battery status will appear in the 

upper right-hand corner of the device. When the 

battery icon is red, please charge the earbuds.

pAIrINg

Pairing with one smartphone or other device:

• Press and hold the MFB button to turn the ear-

buds ON and enter into pairing mode or recon-

nect with the previously paired device

• The earbuds will beep and the red LED and blue 

LED will flash alternately when in pairing mode

• Locate the Bluetooth

®

 settings in your device and 

search for the earbuds 

• From the list of found devices, select “HRS 5017” 

and connect to it 

• Follow the instructions and enter "0000" as PIN if 

required

• Bluetooth

®

 will connect automatically

FIT

We recommend that you try each ear tip (small, 

medium and large), then perform a sound check 

and choose the combination that provides the best 

sound experience.

 Put the earbuds in your ears (L in left ear and R 

in right ear) and adjust the position for maximum 

comfort and fit

 Adjust ear hooks to achieve optimal fit and 

stability

  Drape the earbuds around the back of your neck

NoTE: 

The function compatibility may vary among 

different smartphones or devices. Not all functions 

are available on all devices.

For optimal call quality, please place the micro-

phone as close to your mouth as possible. Some 

calls will automatically go to your mobile device. 

Simply use the call switch function on your mobile 

device to switch the call to your earbuds. Please 

read your device’s instruction manual.

rESTorE FACTory SETTINgS

•  In Bluetooth

®

 connected mode press and hold 

the MFB button and - Decrease volume/previ-

ous track button for 5 seconds. The earbuds will 

beep once reset is successful.

NoTE: 

After factory settings have been restored, 

the earbud’s pairing list will be eliminated. You will 

need to re-pair with your devices. 

CLEANINg

Your earbuds may require periodic cleaning. 

Remove the tips from the earbuds and wash them 

with a mild detergent and water. Make sure the tips 

are dry before putting them back on the earbuds.

particularly, over extended periods of time–may

•  The operation of switching on your Hi-Fi system 

or plugging in the earbuds may cause clicks 

which at high volume setting may affect your 

hearing. Therefore, always set the volume 

control to minimum before switching between 

different sources (tuner, turntable, CD player, 

etc.) or plugging in the earbuds 

•  DO NOT use earbuds while driving or cycling

•  The small parts included with this product 

can be a choking hazard. This product is not 

intended for use by small children and should be 

kept away from children under 3 years of age
