Item Description

This sturdy toilet surround rail is both height and width
adjustable making it suitable for a variety of situations.
Available in either steel or aluminium, it has padded handgrips
for additional comfort and support. Supplied flat packed,
it is easy to assemble without the need for tools.

Intended Uses

To compensate for a disability by helping support the user
while standing up and sitting down.

Instructions for Installation and Use

1.

Lay one of the side frames

(A)

on the floor and position

one of the cross bars

(B)

in the extended rod.

2.

Align the hole on the cross bar with the hole on

the extended rod and insert the pin clip.

3.

Repeat step 1 and 2 with the second cross bar.

4.

Lay the second frame on the floor and put the first

frame assembly onto it. Line up the cross bars with the
extending rods and insert the pin clips. Turn the frame so the
feet are up and secure the cross bars.

Adjusting the height

5.

With the frame lying on one side, press in the brass

studs and slide the leg sleeves

(C)

to the desired height.

Ensure that all of the legs are adjusted to the same height
and the brass studs are securing in the required holes.

Using the floor-fixing feet

After the correct height and width has been determined for the
safe use of the user, the toilet surround rail can be attached
permanently to the floor. Once the frame has been attached
to the floor it can no longer be adjusted in height or width.
Attachment of the frame to the floor should be done by a
qualified tradesman.

Remove the leg sleeves with the rubber ferrules

(C)

and attach

the floor-fixing feet

(D)

in their place.

With the frame properly positioned, mark the position of
the holes in the feet onto the floor. Remove the frame and
check the area to be sure the floor is sound and there are
no obstacles (such as plumbing and wiring). Drill holes and
use suitable fasteners to screw down the feet.

Care and Cleaning

The surround rails can be cleaned with mild detergent
and water. Must be dried after cleaning and before use.
