STABILITY AND LOCATION:
!
!
!
!
Fountain must be installed and located on a level, smooth and flat
surface for proper stability and function.
Fountain
It is recommended that this Fountain NOT be placed in a recreational or
play area. Damage to the Fountain and/or personal injury could result if
children/persons are permitted to climb, play, or lean on this clock.
and its components are designed for INDOOR use only.
F
Slippery floor conditions may occur if the Fountain water splashes the
surrounding area. See the Troubleshooting Section to adjust the Pump
water flow speed.

STEP 2: Connect Pump
!
!
!
Set Wall Section on a flat surface, face down.
Locate the end of the Water Hose, on the bottom of the Wall Section.
Attach the Pump to the Water Hose. Verify the Hose is pushed all the
way onto the pump.
DO NOT PLUG INTO 110V AC ELECTRICAL OUTLET AT THIS TIME.
STEP 3: Basin and Spotlight
!
!
!
!
Place the Basin on a flat surface where the fountain will be located.
(near two electrical outlets.)
Level the Basin using the Floor Levelers on the bottom of the Basin.
Place the Spotlight in the bottom of the Basin at the front center.
Route the Spotlight power cord out of the Basin through the slot at
the back edge. Leave 6-8 inches of extra power cord in the Basin with
the Spotlight.
DO NOT PLUG INTO
110V AC ELECTRICAL
OUTLET AT THIS TIME.
STEP 8: Clock Instructions
!
Set the time using the Time Setting Knob.
If the clock begins to lose time, or the pendulum swing begins to
slow, it is the sign of weak or exhausted batteries. Replace battery
with a fresh “AA” Alkaline battery.
!
!
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
Install the batteries according to the +/- symbols.
Position the Movement Cover over the Movement to keep water
from the Fountain off the Movement.
IMPORTANT: Never leave an exhausted battery in your clock as it
could leak and damage your clock.
STEP 7: Add water
!
!
!
Fill the Basin with clean water, up to
underside of Mounting Plate, so that the
(Distilled, bottled or spring water
are recommended. Do not use hot water.)
NOTE: Only the Pump, the electrical cord
directly connected to the Pump, and the
Spotlight cord are to come in contact with
water.
Due to natural evaporation, check water
level
. Pump must be submerged to
operate properly.
NOTE: Typically the Fountain will require
water added every one to two days.
Place River Rocks on the Wall Section
Mounting Plate.
pump is completely submerged in the
water
DAILY
.
Under no circumstances should the
Transformer, the connection between the
Spotlight cord plug and the Transformer
socket or other parts come into contact
with water.
(two people recommended)
!
Carefully lift the Wall Section and the
attached Pump over the Basin. (One
person to hold the Wall Section, one
person to hold the Pump.)
Lower the Wall Section onto the
supports in the Basin so that the holes
in the Mounting Plate align with the
holes in the Basin Supports.
!
!
!
!
!
!
Put the Pump into the center of the Basin.
Route the Pump power cord out of the
Basin through the slot at the back edge.
Thread the Anchor bolts through the
holes in the Wall Section Mounting
Plate and into the Basin supports.
Tighten the Anchor bolts with screw
driver.
Verify the Wall Section is level by
adjusting the Levelers. (see Step 3)
NOTE: Do NOT push on the Wall
Section to access the Floor Levelers or
move the unit. Lift from the Basin to
adjust the Floor Levelers.
!
!
Locate the Light Cup.
Lift the Spotlight from inside
the Basin (see Step 3) and
position into the Light Cup.
!
Place the Light Cup into
position in the Wall Section
Mounting Plate as shown.
STEP 6: Spotlight to Transformer
Verify that neither the Transformer nor the connection between the
Transformer and Spotlight cord are in the Basin where they could
get wet.
!
!
!
Connect the plug at the end of the Spotlight cord into the socket on
the Transformer.
Do NOT allow the socket and plug connection between the Spotlight
and the Transformer to get in contact with the ground where contact
with water could cause electrical shock.
DO NOT PLUG INTO 110V AC ELECTRICAL OUTLET AT THIS TIME.
STEP 9: Dial and Pendulum
!
!
!
!
!
!
Screw the Brass Pegs with rubber stoppers into the bottom two
holes of the Wall Section, as shown below.
Screw the Brass Rod without the rubber stopper into the top hole of
the Wall Section, as shown below.
NOTE: Some threads will remain exposed on the Pegs and Rods.
Slide the Dial Mounting Sleeve over the Brass Rod near the top of the
Wall Section until the back of the Dial rests against the Brass Pegs.
Align the Dial so that it hangs straight and level.
Tighten the Set Screw on the Dial Mounting Sleeve.
Hang the Pendulum onto the Pendulum Hanger (see Step 8)
Start the Pendulum swing by gently moving the Pendulum to the left
or right side of the Fountain and release. The pendulum will settle
into an even swinging motion after a few minutes.
!
STEP 10: Start Fountain
!
!
!
!
!
!
Verify that the water level allows the Pump to be
completely submerged in the water.
Plug Pump power cord and Transformer into
.
Pump MUST first fill the
Reservoir at the top of the Fountain before water
can begin to flow out of Fountain. This could take
up to a minute for the water to begin flowing.
Adjust the Spotlight so that it shines
on the Fountain as desired.
:
Plug the Pump power cord into 110AC electrical
outlet for 1-2 minutes. If water does not flow out of
the top of the Fountain, unplug the power cord.
Repeat above step as necessary to cycle the
Pump
110V AC electrical outlet with GFI receptacle
PRIMING THE PUMP
Do NOT plug-in or use this product if any part of it
appears to be damaged or operates abnormally.
Have the product examined and repaired, if
necessary, by a qualified electrician.
Pump will begin to fill the Reservoir at the top of
the Fountain Wall Section.
If
there is still no water flow after a minute, you will
need to prime the Pump.
This "Priming" action is normal and is generally
not necessary after initial installation.
let the Pump operate when not fully
submerged in water. Doing so may damage the
Pump. Always submerge the Pump in water, and
then plug in the power cord.
If water flows out of the top of the unit
unevenly, see the Troubleshooting section.
