are in 1/8 in./ft increments. Plus and minus signs indicate that the pitch is slightly more (+) or slightly less (-)
than the pitch shown on the display.
Pre-Operation (continued)
6. MR Button
– Displays the records in the memory. The records are recalled from the latest to the earliest.
7. LCD Display
– Once you turn on the tool, the first display is the temperature (in Fahrenheit). After about two
seconds, it will automatically display the absolute angle in degrees.
8. Encased Vertical Vial and Horizontal Vial
9. Laser Pulling Head
– The laser is emitted from the aperture at the end of the laser pulling head. Always avoid
exposure to laser radiation when using the digital level laser.

RELATIVE ANGLE MEASUREMENT
1. Lay the digital level on the surface.
2. Turn on the level. The LCD screen indicates the absolute angle between true level and the surface.
3. Push the Reset button to enter the relative angle measurement mode. The display reads 0.0°, while its top left corner
shows the zero line. Move it to another working surface, and the relative angle between the two working surfaces will
be displayed.
4. To change the display units for the measured angle, see Changing Display Units in the Operation section.
5. To return to absolute angle measurement, turn off the level and power it on again.
ABSOLUTE ANGLE MEASUREMENT
1. Lay the digital level on a surface, ensuring the base sits flat against the surface. The level has three magnets in the
bottom to secure it to steel surfaces. If necessary, you can turn the digital level upside down during measuring. The
display will continue to read normally.
2. When you turn the level on, the display figure indicates the absolute angle between true level and the surface. By
observing the vials, you can judge whether the surface is horizontal or vertical.
3. While the angle changes, the bias on the display shows the tilt trend of the tool while the right arrow points upward or
downward.
4. To activate the beeper, push the
button. The beeper will sound at level, 45°, plumb, and the last saved angle. To
deactivate, push it again.
5. Press the
Memory
button to save the measured angle in the memory. This level can remember the last nine groups of
data measured (from
M1
to
M9
, in turn).
6. Press the
MR
button to recall these angles. The records will be read out from the latest to the earliest (
M9
to
M1
) in turn.
7. To change display units used for the measured angle, see the Changing Display Units section of the Operation section.
8. To make a new measurement, press the
Memory
button to return to measurement mode.
Operation (continued)
LASER ALIGNMENT
This digital level features a laser diode located in the laser pulling head
(3) at the right of the level. It can project a reference laser line along the
wall. The laser line is aligned with the horizontal vial and the working
base.
To turn the laser on see Figure 9 and 10.
1. Push the lock button (1) with your thumb.
2. At the same time, pull the panel (2) with your forefinger to lead the
laser head to the lowest place (as shown in Figures 9 and 10). The
second image shows the laser head (3) in the open position.
