inside of the storage drawer

Gently remove the battery
connector. Attach a high-

Using the Safe
1.
Unlock the safe.
2.
Place items in the storage drawer. Use the removable shelf for delicate
items such as tablets, phones, and jewellery, or wide items that don’t fit
in the safe storage drawer. Rest the removable shelf on the side supports
inside the storage drawer, ensuring it
is completely flat, before placing
items on it (Fig. 5). Note: Place
items with screens (ex. tablets,
smartphones) with the screen
facing do wn ward (Fig. 6).
3.
Gently push the storage drawer back
into the safe until the lock hole in the
storage drawer aligns with the lock hole
in the outer casing. Note: If the safe
is too full, the dra wer may not close properly, and you may
have to rearrange or remove items.
4.
Guide the cable around a fixed, secure object. For use in a vehicle, guide
the cable around the metal fixture under a seat or part of the vehicle
chassis. Note: Ensure this
does not interfere with the
seat rail movement.
5.
Insert the end of the cable into
the cable lock hole, ensuring it
is fully inserted. Insert the key
into the lock cylinder and lock
the safe (Fig. 7). The LED light will turn on, and the alarm will be armed.
Note: If the alarm sounds, the cable is not inserted fully into
the cable lock hole. Turn the key back to the unlocked position and
fully insert the cable before trying again.
Troubleshooting
If the alarm does not sound or makes a clicking sound when
activated:
Check the battery. Ensure that the 9-volt alkaline battery is of high quality.
If the alarm sounds while the safe is locked and the cable is in the
cable lock hole:
Ensure the storage drawer is fully inserted and the two lock holes are aligned.
Ensure the cable is fully inserted into the cable lock hole. You may have to hold
the cable in place while turning the key.
W arning: All Decibel products contain a very loud siren as a theft
deterrent. If used at close range for prolonged periods of time, this
may cause ear damage or hearing loss. Do not hold close to ears,
