PARTS NEEDED:

1/4” Pan Head Screws, Coated for 

Exterior Installation 

(not provided - 

recommend four per end cap)

Stow & Glo Assist Handle Installation Instructions

(Part #’s: 86475-30-BL-04-001) 

1. 

Determine the installation location for your handle*, making sure there is a solid support or backer material behind the location to 

     support the handle. If there is no backer than you may need to use a bolt, large washer, nut and plate (not provided).

TOOLS NEEDED:

Power Drill w/ 1/8” Drill Bit 

(if screws are used for installation)

Silicone Sealant 

(Optional - not supplied)

Note that the handle measures 27.25” from the top of one cap to the  

     bottom of the other. It is recommended that a 1/8” drill bit be used 

     when using 1/4” screws, to drill the pilot holes. Install screws in top end 

     cap first, beginning with the bottom right screw

2. Proceed with the 

     bottom right screw3 on the bottom end cap. It is recommended that 

     the handle be in the closed position when installing the top hinge and 

     the open position when installing the bottom hinge. 

*Use a level to ensure end caps are vertically aligned

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.  READ CAREFULLY FOR YOUR PROTECTION AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

* The Stow & Glo handle should be installed into a solid support structure or will run the risk of being pulled out of the wall.

* The Stow & Glo handle should never be left in the operating position while traveling. Leaving the handle in the operating position while 

   traveling will void the warranty.

* When installing the handle with screws make sure the pilot hole is properly sized and accommodate for wall thickness when selecting a 

   screw length. 

CAUTION:

 This handle is only to be used in assisting a person when entering or exiting the RV. Caution should always be used when 

   entering or exiting an RV.
