Installing the batteries
1.
Ensure the USB power cord is removed from the fan first
.
2. Twist the battery cover on the base of the fan anti clockwise, and
remove.
3. Insert 4 x AA 1.5V batteries (not included) in the direction indicated
inside the battery compartment. Be sure to insert the batteries
correctly (+/-).
4. Replace the battery cover and twist clockwise to lock.
Using the USB power cord
1. Use the USB power cord as an alternative to batteries.
Ensure the
batteries are removed from the fan first
.
2. Simply plug the USB power cord included into the Tilting Mini Desk
Fan, and the other end into your laptop or computer’s USB port.
Instructions for use
1. To turn on press the on / off button on the top of the fan.
2. Use the fan in its upright position, or tilt it back to the angle you need.
3. Press the on / off button again to turn the fan off.
Battery safety cautions
• Only use AA 1.5V batteries.
• Be sure to insert batteries correctly (+/-).
• Do not mix old and new batteries (replace all batteries at the same time).
• Do not mix alkaline, standard carbon zinc or rechargeable batteries.
• If battery contents are leaking, discontinue use and discard safely.
• Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
• Never dispose of batteries in a fire, as this may cause them to explode.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to
be used.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from product.
• Remove batteries when the product is not going to be used for a
long time.
• Ensure the battery compartment is secure.
• If you have any doubts about the installation, seek the services of a
qualified installer.
TILTING MINI DESK FAN
WARNING: Use either batteries OR the USB cable
to power the fan. The fan has a safety feature
which will not allow you to use both at once.
