DESCRIPTION

The L1C underwater light is a heavy-duty submersible light for

illuminating fountains, reflecting pools, and ponds. The light

features a stainless-steel case, a cast brass rock guard, and a 250-

watt, high-output tungsten halogen lamp. The low-profile design

of the L1C enables it to be placed in water as shallow as 6 inches.

The L1C includes a swivel base, which allows easy placement of

the light in a pond or fountain.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, connect the light to a

properly grounded, grounding-type receptacle. Never remove or

disable the grounding pin of the cord plug.

The National Electric Code and many local building codes require

the use of a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) on the branch

circuit supplying fountain equipment rated above 15 volts.

completely submerged.

2.   Connect the light to a properly grounded 115-volt power source

that is protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).

3.   In some advanced installations it may be necessary to splice

power cables underwater. In these installations you must use

an approved underwater junction box. use only a junction box
