Undo the rear trim of the handbrake by pushing down
and back as shown in the picture. You may need to
give the cover a light tap with a rubber mallet if you
are having trouble getting it to disengage.

This picture shows the trim piece undone from the
handbrake. Remove the small retaining clip that is on
the top of the handbrake grip.
