Introduction

 

The NMN6050B Safety Helmet Headset is an accessory item compatible with many 
Motorola two-way radio products. The headset fits up into and attaches to the inside of the 
safety helmet. 

 

Description

 

The microphone and earphone electrical components of the headset are located within a 
capsule assembly (see Figure 1). A flexible acoustical tube leads from the earphone to the 
soft plastic earpiece. Another acoustical tube provides the lip microphone facility. The 
headset cable is terminated in an industrial connector for use in many Motorola two-way 
radio applications.

 

Assembly 

 

Refer to Figure 1 and become familiar with the parts and terminology. The headset is pro-
vided with a plastic box that contains a set of six soft plastic earpiece tips of various sizes 
to fit the individual users ear. Assemble the headset per the following steps.

Open the plastic box of earpiece tips. Fit  several earpieces to your ear and select
