Installation of Navitar NuView Series 641 lens on Sanyo model PLC-
PLC-XT10, XT11, XT15, XT16, XT20, XT20L, XT25, XT25L & XT35
projectors.
TOOLS REQUIRED: PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVER (XT10 & XT15 ONLY)
Disassembly (XT10 & XT15 ONLY):
1. Disconnect unit from power source and place projector with lens facing you. Remove
lens bezel by gently pressing bezel top down while rotating away from projector front.
2. Remove two (2) screws from top cover of lens. Remove cover and set aside for
reinstallation.
3. Remove prime lens by pressing button at the center-rear of the lens-cover opening
and rotating the lens counter-clockwise.
Assembly (XT10 & XT15 ONLY):
1. Ensure that your Navitar lens and adapter are separate (Except MCZ275 Models).
Locate the slot on the back flange of the adapter and position it at approximately the
10 O’clock position as it is inserted into the projector. Twist the adapter clockwise
until the slot is positioned at 12 O’clock and the adapter is locked in place.
2. Replace the front cover of the projector removed in step 2, above.
3. Replace the bezel removed in step 1, above.
4. Install the lens by gently rotating clockwise as it is inserted into the adapter.
5. To focus, gently twist the front of lens. To zoom, loosen thumbscrew and twist
knurled ring (zoom lenses only, of course). Re-tighten thumbscrew. CAUTION: Do
not twist entire lens out of adapter! On MCZ275 Models, twist the knurled inner ring
to zoom and twist the knurled outer ring to focus the lens.
Disassembly (XT20 & XT25):
1. Disconnect the unit from power source and remove the prime lens by depressing the
button at the top center of the projector and rotating the lens counter-clockwise.
Assembly (XT20 & XT25):
1. Ensure that your Navitar lens and adapter are separate (Except MCZ275 Models).
Locate the slot on the back flange of the adapter and position it at approximately the
10 O’clock position as it is inserted into the projector. Twist the adapter clockwise
until the slot is positioned at 12 O’clock and the adapter is locked in place.
2. Install the lens by gently rotating clockwise as it is inserted into the adapter.
