Precautions for Installing the Car Mounter

Do not place metal ob jects or 

containers of liquid on top of the 

Car Mounter.

  If paper clips, coins, or other metal 

objects, or water or other liquid spills,  

get inside the Car Mounter, fire or 

electric shock may result.

 Immediately unplug the AC cord and 

remove  the computer from the Car 

Mounter. Then, contact your technical 

support of

fi

 ce.

I f  t h e s e  m a l f u n c t i o n s  o c c u r, 

immediately unplug the AC cord 

and remove the computer from the 

Car Mounter.

•  The Car Mounter is damaged

• A  f o r e i g n  o b j e c t  i s  i n s i d e  C a r 

Mounter

•  Smoke is emitted 

•  An unusual smell is emitted

•  The Car Mounter is unusually hot

  Continuing to use the Car Mounter 

while any of the above conditions are 

present may result in fire or electric 

shock.

  I f  t h e s e  m a l f u n c t i o n s  o c c u r , 

immediately unplug the AC cord and 

remove the computer from the Car 

Mounter . Then, contact your technical 

support of

 ce.

Do not touch the Car Mounter and 

cable during an electrical storm.

  Electric shock may result.

 Do not place the Car Mounter in an 

unstable location.

  If it becomes unbalanced, it could fall 

over or drop, potentially causing an 

injury.

Do not connect a telephone line, or 

a network cable other than the one 

speci

fi

 ed, to the LAN port.

  If the LAN port is connected to a 

network such as the ones listed below, 

a 

fi

 re or electric shock may result.

• Networks other than 100BASE-TX 

or 10BASE-T

• Phone lines (IP phone (Internet 

Protocol Telephone), conventional 

external telephone lines, internal 

phone lines (on-premise switches), 

digital public phones, etc.)

Avoid Liquids, Humidity, Dust and 

Oil smoke.

  Continuing to use the Car Mounter 

while any of the above conditions are 

present may result in fire or electric 

shock.

Do not leave the Car Mounter in the 

car under flaming sun for a long 

period of time.

  The heat may damage the container 

a n d  s o m e  p a r t s  i n s i d e  t h e  C a r 

Mounter. 

  Continuing to use the Car Mounter 

under such a condition may cause a 

short circuit or insulation malfunction 

etc, which may result in a fire or 

electric shock.

Use only the speci

fi

 ed AC  adaptor 

with your Car Mounter.

  Using an AC adaptor other than the 

one supplied might result in 

fi

 re.
