What is Recoil Technology
Here’s the secret: by pointing the LED backwards
into the reflector, 100% of the light is captured and
projected forward. The squared spot on the beam is
your proof that all available light is being used and
there’s no peripheral projection. It’s a true collimated
beam that cuts through thick smoke, dust, and other
particulates.

BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Remove the left cap (light pointing away
from you) by turning counter-clockwise
exposing the battery compartment.
2.
Remove used batteries and replace with
fresh batteries (as shown on polarity
sticker located on inside of body).
3.
Place cap with side slot over locking
projections in body. Screw down
clockwise until cap is snug with body.
ON/OFF
To turn on the HeadsUp Lite
TM
(light point-
ing away from you) turn the right side cap
towards you. To turn off, turn the cap away
from you.
HEADLAMP POSITIONING
A stretchable band is provided for mounting
around your head. The light can be rotated
up and down through 170˚.
CAUTION:
If light is not to be used for some time,
remove batteries to prevent possible
leakage and corrosion.

¿En qué consiste la Tecnología LED
de reflexión inversa?
Ahí está el secreto: al dirigir hacia atrás el haz
del LED, el reflector en la parte posterior capta
el 100% de la luz, y la refleja al completo hacia
adelante. El punto luminoso cuadrado en el haz
es la prueba de que se utiliza toda la luz disponible
y de que no se produce proyección periférica.
Es un haz de luz realmente colimado que
atraviesa el humo denso, el polvo y demás
partículas. Tecnología LED de reflexión inversa.
Bien pensado, tendrá un faro en la palma de la mano.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA
SUSTITUIR LAS PILAS
1.
Retire el casquillo izquierdo (no oriente
la linterna hacia Ud.) girándolo en sentido
contrario al de las agujas del reloj,
dejando al descubierto el compartimento
de pilas.
2.
Retire las pilas agotadas y sustitúyalas
por las nuevas (tal como se indica en la
pegatina de polaridad situada en el interior
del cuerpo).

BATTERIES CAN BE DANGEROUS!
Most battery issues arise from improper handling of bat-
teries, and particularly from the use of damaged or coun-
terfeit batteries. Please review the information below to
avoid serious injury and/or damage to your property.
Alkaline Batteries
1. For those lights with hazardous location safety
approvals for explosive environments please be
advised that the safety approval is only valid for
the specified battery type manufacturer and, where
applicable, brand names that are displayed on the
flashlight and/or instructions sheets that are supplied
with the light. The use of other battery technologies
may reduce the performance of the flashlight and will
invalidate the safety approval.
2. Always read the battery manufacturers recommenda-
tions for the appropriate use of the battery technol-
ogy/brand prior to using the flashlight.
3. When replacing the batteries:
a. Replace all the batteries at the same time.
b. Do not mix battery brands and old and new bat-
teries.
c. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to
polarity (+ and -) marked on the battery and
equipment.
4. Do not change batteries in a hazardous location.
5. Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be
used for an extended period of time.

COLOCACIÓN DEL FRONTAL
Se incluye una cinta elástica para ajustar la
linterna a su cabeza. La luz se puede dirigir
hacia arriba y hacia abajo, con un ángulo de
giro de 170 grados.
ADVERTENCIA:
Si la linterna no va a ser utilizada durante un
largo período, retire las pilas para evitar las
posibles fugas y la corrosión.
