LOCATE THE BRAKE/CLUTCH RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY ON YOUR MOTORCYCLE HANDLEBAR. YOU WILL SEE TWO 

SCREWS (DEPENDING ON YOUR MOTORCYCLE, THESE SCREWS MAY BE LOCATED BEHIND A PLASTIC OR METAL 

TRIM. REMOVE THIS TRIM TO EXPOSE SCREW HEADS.) BEFORE REMOVING SCREWS, MARK THE LOCATION OF THIS 

ASSEMBLY ON THE HANDLEBAR INCASE THERE IS A NEED TO REINSTALL IT FOR FUTURE USE.

1. 

REMOVE ONE OF THE SCREWS AND COMPARE THE THREAD TO (G or H) SCREWS 

    PROVIDED. GATHER THE 2 MATCHING SCREWS, 2 SPACERS (J), AND 2 LOCK 
    WASHERS (K).

2. 

PASS EACH (G or H) SCREW THROUGH (K) LOCK WASHER, AND INSERT THROUGH 

    SLOTTED HOLES OF (A) BALL BASE. SCREW HEADS SHOULD BE VISIBLE 
    WITH RAM LOGO.

3.

 POSITION (J) SPACERS OVER THREADS OF EACH SCREW, AND SET ASSEMBLY 

    ASIDE.

4. 

REMOVE FINAL SCREW HOLDING YOUR ORIGINAL BRAKE/CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. HOLD 

    ASSEMBLY TOGETHER WHILE REMOVING TO AVOID LOSING COMPONENTS. SET 
    ASIDE CLAMP AND FACTORY SCREWS

DEPENDING ON THE MOTORCYCLE, FACTORY CLAMP MAY NEED TO REMAIN IN 
PLACE TO ACCOMMODATE THE LENGTH OF SCREWS IN YOUR RAM MOUNT KIT.
5.

 CAREFULLY PICK UP YOUR RAM MOUNT ASSEMBLY, AND BY HAND, THREAD RAM 

    SCREWS INTO THREADED HOLES OF YOUR BRAKE/CLUTCH RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY.

6.

 TIGHTEN SCREWS USING ALLEN WRENCH UNTIL RAM MOUNT IS SECURE.

7.

 STORE ANY UNUSED COMPONENTS OR HARDWARE FOR POSSIBLE FUTURE USE.

BRAKE/CLUTCH RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY INSTALL:

1. 

CHOOSE A LOCATION ON THE HANDLEBAR THAT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH 

    FACTORY EQUIPMENT OR BLOCKS GAUGES. SAFETY FIRST.

2. 

PLACE U-BOLT (D or E) AROUND HANDLEBAR AND ALIGN THREADS WITH THE TWO 

    HOLES OF THE BALL BASE (A)

3.

 WITH THE NOTCH IN THE BASE FACING THE HANDLEBAR, SLIDE BASE OVER THE 

    THREADS.

4. 

USING BOTH NUTS (B), THREAD EACH ONE BY HAND UNTIL THEY STOP.

5. 

USING SOCKET OR BOX END WRENCH, ALTERNATE TIGHTENING EACH NUT UNTIL 

    BALL BASE IS SECURE AGAINST HANDLEBAR.

6. 

PRIOR TO FINAL TIGHTENING OF THE NUTS, MAKE SURE PLACEMENT OF BALL BASE 

    (A) IS SATISFACTORY.

7.

 

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN NUTS.

 TIGHTENING OF THE NUTS BEYOND 5 FOOT-POUNDS 

    OF TORQUE MAY RESULT IN CRACKING THE BASE. OVER-TIGHTENING CAN ALSO 
    DAMAGE HANDLEBAR SO USE CAUTION WHEN TIGHTENING NUTS.

8.

 LASTLY, PLACE BOTH RUBBER CAPS (C) OVER THE EXPOSED THREAD OF U-BOLT.

DAMAGE DUE TO MODIFICATIONS, IMPROPER INSTALLATION, ROAD 

HAZARDS OR ACCIDENT, ARE NOT COVERED UNDER LIFETIME WARRANTY. 
RAM® SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE, DIRECT 

OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING OUT OF IMPROPER INSTALLATION OR 

INABILITY TO USE PRODUCT. BEFORE USING, USER SHALL DETERMINE THAT 
SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT FOR ITS INTENDED USE, AND USER ASSUMES 

ALL RISK AND LIABILITY WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
