OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR
ROLLING CODE ALARM RCA
HIGH SECURITY SWITCH
Located in the rear of the siren is a master switch. This can be used to turn the system on and off.
Bear in mind that if you plug the alarm while it is armed, the build in backup battery will continue
to power the system. In this case, you must use the keyswitch to disable the alarm.
BACK UP BATTERY TEST
•
Insert key, switch to “ON”position.
•
Switch to “TEST” position, the siren will sound on the
internal back up battery, if the battery is fully charged.
•
If no siren sound is heard, this indicates a faulty
internal battery.
NOTE: Back up battery requires a minimum of 24 hours
to charge fully after installation.

EMERGENCY PANIC BUTTON OPERATED VIA REMOTE
The panic is activated by pressing the button on the remote control transmitter for 3 seconds. This
sets off the siren. To cancel panic, press the button on the transmitter for 1 second
.
TO ARM/DISARM ALARM
Alarm is activated by pressing the button on remote control transmitter. The blinkers will flash once,
and siren will beep, dash LED-light will stay on for 20 seconds then flash, ALARM IS NOW ON. To
deactivate alarm, press the button again. Blinkers will flash 3 times. ALARM IS OFF.
LEARNING NEW TRANSMITTERS
To add a new transmitter to your alarm, simply follow the
procedure below:
RHINO
1. Turn the keyswitch on the rear of the alarm to battery back (test ) position. The siren will sound,
this is OK.
2. Press and hold the button on the new remote control and immediately;
3. Turn the keyswitch on the rear of the alarm to the SYSTEM ON position.
4. Now release the button on the new remote control.
5. The new remote control is now programmed into the alarm.
