USING THE TIMETECH TIMER TTS-4/TTS-8
(MFG. # 9900624, 625, 628, 629, 630, 632, 643, 644, 645 & 656)
General

The TimeTech Timer uses four or eight timing channels to
track four or eight different events simultaneously with up
to 2 timing stages for each channel.
• TTS-4 (4 Channel Timer, Mfg. #9900
624 & 9900630
)
• TTS-8 (8 Channel Timer, Mfg. #9900628, 9900629,
9900632, 9900643, 9900644 9900656, & 9900645)
NOTE: While the timer can track 4–8 different timing
events at a time, as a default, it will display the timing
session that will finish first. Other active channels
can be viewed by pressing its corresponding button.
Take the Timer out of the box and allow it to charge
under a light source for 15 minutes. Do
NOT
obstruct
the solar cells at the front and top of the Timer or it may
not function properly.
Mounting the Timer
The TimeTech Timer mounts directly to any flat magnetic
surface with the magnetic backing. If the surface is not
magnetic, use the provided Universal Mounting Bracket.

1. If you are attaching the Timer to a device powered
by electricity, turn the device off, unplug the power
cord, and allow it to cool down before proceeding.
NOTE: Clean the surface where the Timer is to be
mounted thoroughly before proceeding. Observe the
proper cleaning procedures as required.
2. When mounting to a non-magnetic surface, use
the Universal Mounting Bracket. Carefully peel the
backing from the Bracket and secure the Bracket to
the chosen mounting surface.
NOTE: The adhesive is strong. Make certain to center
it properly before attaching it to the mounting surface.
4. Attach the TimeTech Timer to the Universal Bracket.
5. If the Timer is mounted to a device, place the
device back into service.
NOTE: Do NOT obstruct the Solar Cells at the front
and top of the Timer or the Timer may not function
properly.
Idle Mode
When the Timer is not timing, the Time Display window
reads “
--:--:--.
”
After 5 minutes of idle time, the Timer enters a “sleep
mode” causing the display to go blank. Press any key to
“wake up” the Timer. This will occur even if a channel is
done timing and not cleared.

CAUTION
Do NOT mount the timer in extremely hot (104ºF)
or wet areas. Do NOT mount the timer where it will
cause the operator to reach over hot or dangerous
equipment.
