IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•
The blades are sharp, handle with care. Hold the blade at the top away from the cutting edge, both
when handing and cleaning.
•
Do not plug the appliance into the power supply if is not fully assembled and always unplug before
disassembling the appliance or handling the blade.
•
Remove the blade before emptying the bowl.
•
Never use unauthorized attachment.
•
Don’t let children to play with this appliance.
•
Never use a damaged appliance. Get it checked or repaired at the authorized service center.
•
Never let the power unit, cord or plug get wet.
•
Don’t let excess cord hang over the edge of a table or workshop or touch hot surface.
•
Never misuse your food chopper and use it only for its intended domestic use.
•
Do not use if there is any visible damage to the appliance.
•
The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
•
Never leave the appliance unattended.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
IMPORTANT
•
Do not run the chopper continuously for longer than 20 seconds. Leave it to cool down for 1 minute
in between each 10 second operation.
•
Do not operate the chopper if the bowl is empty.
•
Never operate the chopper with the bowl filled with liquid.
BEFORE PLUGGING IN
•
Make sure that the mains voltage in you home is the same with the one shown on the underside of
the power unit.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
•
Remove all packaging including the plastic blade covers from the blade. These covers should be
discarded as they are to protect the blade during manufacture and transit only.
•
Wash the parts: see “CLEANING”.
HOW TO USE THE FOOD CHOPPER
1.
Place the non-slip mat onto the work-surface, rib side down.
2.
Position the bowl onto the middle of the non slip mat.
3.
Fit the blade over the pin in the bowl.
4.
Add your food, see “PROCESSING GUIDE”.
